Did You Know?: The Swastika
Did you know that the swastika is actually an ancient religious symbol used for thousands of years? As a matter of fact it is still used today
in the Buddhist religion. However, what most people don’t realize is that the original swastika is actually a swastika pointing to the left.
The swastika is considered to be a symbol that contains the key to the universe. It wasn’t until Hitler took the original symbol, flipped it
and turned it on its axis that it became the symbol of hate.

My reading was that the ( ” hook -cross ” ) used by the nazis was the wrong way round because it should be used in association with it’s counterpart , not on it’s own . The other one can , however , stand alone .
